Crisis in Patriarchy

spoke to my brother about silos

we find crisis in patriarchy

no harmony
no balance
no stillness

we find crisis in patriarchy

left with more questions than answers

have men become distorted? the identity of man? what is a man? have we lost ourselves in the form of default? where in which we find no faults, yet everything aorund us is faulted by us?

do we exist in a world state where we tell boys to be men without providing a foundation for our own manhoods? Our own personhoods? In losing the staves of our ingenuity, have we now constructed silos of debauchery, angst and trauma?

silos of binaries
silos of contention
silos of stereotypes
silos of hubris
silos of volatility

if a hole is made within this silo, then said executor is immediately drowned within its contents?

then surely we must all drown?
we must all drown in self to find self.

with these questions posed, I answer yes. When did cultivators of the Earth become conquerers?

speaking silos containing grains

us being grains

but not millet, not buckwheat or barley
I'd ask Uncle Thomas

but the French, the Patron and Blaise left him in tatters.

men
crisis in patriarchy
so we find.

but if crisis is to be averted
then an additional supplement to my

no our

inheritance comes from the hope stemming
from Uncle Aimé.

if crisis is to be
no
if said crisis can be

then brother comrade
and take my curious fervour as a fraternal affirmation

centuries old structures
which are reinforced by
men distorted by
centuries old structures

can be stripped down

by men

envisioning
century old structures.
