From A Pavilion

Love, like death,

affirms

We speak again of heralds
whose primary task
must remain in the action
of tearing shrouds

silence.

Let us embrace and reject it.
what becomes of the one
who finds comfort in silence
or the one who avoids silence

will they detest the one
who was moulded by it?
to mould is to encounter

Resistance

only a fool would deny
the importance and necessity of
resistance

A tug of war should shift
Into a haul
so at the end we find
more cloth to unravel.

What reason do I have
To kill a spider
If it makes webs?

has one grown accustomed
to the denial of age?

Thoughts plague one's arch,
to the point that it crumbles

amidst the rubble
we encounter obstacles
that are never impossible
to navigate

What does one call
a mountain
on a mountain
on a mountain
of molehills?

Braving the elements
Of our own storms
requires our own sails.

To be the wickie
the wanderer
and the watcher
simultaneously

is what makes us human

No man is an island
Because we are trading posts.
